Designing Collection pages - Webflow CMS tutorial
Whenver you create a new item (e.g., blog post, help article, etc.) in a Webflow CMS Collection, a page is automatically created for it. Collection Pages work like templates — the layout and design of the Collection Page will ly to every Collection item's page. That means Collection Pages are essentially templates for recurring pieces of content, such as blog posts, help articles, or even landing pages. In this video, we'll show you how to: 1. Create a Collection Page 2. Add and connect content 3. Preview Collection Pages 4. Link to a Collection Page Plus, we'll show you the settings you can adjust for Collection Pages. ---------- Get started with Webflow: https://help.webflow.com/courses/getting-started http://webflow.com http://twitter.com/webflow http://facebook.com/webflow

Styling HTML element tags - Webflow CSS tutorial (using the Old UI)
In Webflow, HTML tags give us an easy way to control the default styling for a particular element, without creating a unique class. For example, you can define the default styles for all paragraphs by editing the All Paragraphs tag. Adding a class with styles will override these default styles. Here’s what we’ll be covering: 1. Accessing tags 2. Styling tags versus classes 3. Example 1: All H1 Headings tag 4. Example 2: All Links tag 5. Example 3: All Images tag ---------- Get started with Webflow: https://help.webflow.com/courses/getting-started http://webflow.com http://twitter.com/webflow http://facebook.com/webflow

Kentico CMS 5.0 CSS Menu Design
Kentico CMS pages are rendered based on Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). By default, each web site is based on a global CSS style sheet; that can be edited using either the built in WYSIWG editors or an external editor like Visual Studio. The main menu is an example of how a CSS style sheet can be used to control the look and feel of the site. The main menu used in the sample corporate site is displayed using the Drop-down menu web part which is based on the CMSMenu server control. This menu depends primarily on CSS styles. In this video we will look at examples of changing the design of the main menu using the Kentico CMS 5.0 sample corporate site.

Django CMS 3.0 App Integration
This is a video How To of creating a djangoCMS 3.0 project and integrating a Django application. It is intended for developers who already have some familiarity with Django but may be just starting with some of the concepts in djangoCMS. In this tutorial you will: • Install djangoCMS 3.0 via the djangocms-installer; • Make changes to the menu styles; • Install a normal, Django app (staff); • Use a CMS "App Hook" to attach the app to a CMS Page; • Enable front-end editing of the app's models; • Add PlaceholderFields in the app's models; • Add CMS Toolbar support for the application; • Add CMS Toolbar "context" menus on the app's views. The final code for the staff app can be found here: https://github.com/mkoistinen/staff-app-demo. IMPORTANT NOTICE: In more recent versions of django CMS, some of the 'magic' filenames have changed. So, 'cms_toolbar.py' becomes 'cms_toolbars.py' if you're using a recent version of the CMS!

DrupalCon Munich 2012: The strategy behind designing for a CMS
I used to say: "There isn't a hard-to-theme design, only a lazy or bad themer". But after over 6 years working as designer, themer and now a CEO of a Drupal consulting company (Mogdesign.eu) I would probably change it to: "There isn't a hard-to-theme design, but some are easier and more cost-effective". I would like to share a few lessons and ideas from what I learned. What are those aspects that make your designs successful, easier to theme, cost effective, but still beautiful and meeting your client's needs. In other words - how to make both your themer and client fall in love with you:) - How is print design different from web design - Typography, grids - Learn about Drupal, theme layers, elements, blocks, regions, etc... - How to find balance between beauty and usability - Be consistent: use same layout for views, blocks, headlines, font sizes, line heights, borders, margins, comments, images - Design a style guide: a specific page with all often used HTML & Drupal elements, image sizes + more tips on becoming pixel perfect designer The style guide example will be available to download

Why WordPress is the Best CMS Bangla?
SUBSCRIBE Our YouTube Channel ► https://www.youtube.com/e2softsolutions?sub_confirmation=1 WordPress is a free and open-source content management system based on PHP and MySQL. To function, WordPress has to be installed on a web server, which would either be part of an Internet hosting service or a network host in its own right. #AboutWordPress, #WordPress, #CMS WordPress has a web template system using a template processor. Its architecture is a front controller, routing all requests for non-static URIs to a single PHP file which parses the URI and identifies the target page. This allows support for more human-readable permalinks. Themes -------------- WordPress users may install and switch among different themes. Themes allow users to change the look and functionality of a WordPress website without altering the core code or site content. Every WordPress website requires at least one theme to be present and every theme should be designed using WordPress standards with structured PHP, valid HTML (HyperText Markup Language), and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Themes may be directly installed using the WordPress "Appearance" administration tool in the dashboard, or theme folders may be copied directly into the themes directory, for example via FTP. The PHP, HTML and CSS found in themes can be directly modified to alter theme behavior, or a theme can be a "child" theme which inherits settings from another theme and selectively overrides features.[16] WordPress themes are generally classified into two categories: free and premium. Many free themes are listed in the WordPress theme directory, and premium themes are available for purchase from marketplaces and individual WordPress developers. WordPress users may also create and develop their own custom themes. The free theme Underscores created by the WordPress developers has become a popular basis for new themes. Plugins -------------- WordPress' plugin architecture allows users to extend the features and functionality of a website or blog. WordPress has over 55,286 plugins available,[18] each of which offers custom functions and features enabling users to tailor their sites to their specific needs. These customizations range from search engine optimization, to client portals used to display private information to logged in users, to content management systems, to content displaying features, such as the addition of widgets and navigation bars. Not all available plugins are always abreast with the upgrades and as a result they may not function properly or may not function at all. Most plugins are available through WordPress themselves, either via downloading them and installing the files manually via FTP or through the WordPress dashboard. However, many third parties offer plugins through their own websites, many of which are paid packages. Mobiles --------------- Native applications exist for WebOS, Android, iOS, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry. These applications, designed by Automattic, have options such as adding new blog posts and pages, commenting, moderating comments, replying to comments in addition to the ability to view the stats. Other features ------------------------ WordPress also features integrated link management; a search engine–friendly, clean permalink structure; the ability to assign multiple categories to posts; and support for tagging of posts.
