A drive around Liverpool seeing the Boyhood Homes of John, Paul, George and Ringo, plus the Empress pub where Ringo's mum worked, Brian Epstein's home, The church of their first gig, Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane, The Round-a-bout where a pretty nurse is selling poppies from a tray, and much much more. If in Liverpool, I highly recommend. P.S, I posted this video in Sept of last year but got into some copyright issues with EMI, So, same video, just over-dubbed from original.

Songs you'll never forget, the film you've never seen and a story that's never been heard. In 1967, in the wake of the extraordinary impact of the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album and the Our World satellite broadcast of All You Need Is Love, The Beatles devised, wrote and directed their third film, Magical Mystery Tour, a dreamlike story of a coach day trip to the seaside. Apple Films have fully restored the long out-of-print, classic feature film for October 8th release worldwide (October 9th in North America) on DVD and Blu-ray with a remixed soundtrack (5.1 and stereo) and special features. For the first time ever there will be a limited theatrical release in certain territories from September 27th. The Beatles 1 Video Collection is Out Now. Get your copy here: http://thebeatles1.lnk.to/DeluxeBluRay “When you talk about destruction, don’t you know that you can count me out" “I did the slow version and I wanted it out as a single: as a statement of The Beatles’ position on Vietnam and The Beatles’ position on revolution. For years, on The Beatles’ tours, Brian Epstein had stopped us from saying anything about Vietnam or the war.” - John Lennon. “Plugging directly into the Abbey Road desk and pushing the needles into the red achieved the fuzz-guitar sound. According to George Martin “We got into distortion on that, which we had a lot of complaints from the technical people about. But that was the idea: it was John’s song and the idea was to push it right to the limit. Well, we went to the limit and beyond.” “Revolution" was directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, and filmed on the 4th September 1968 at Twickenham Film Studios. “Don’t you know it’s gonna be all right” You can find out more and pre-order at http://www.thebeatles.com Official site: http://www.thebeatles.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thebeatles/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thebeatles Twitter: https://twitter.com/thebeatles Music video by The Beatles performing Revolution. I will never forget purchasing this eight track and popping it into my eight track player in my little VW and taking off on my personal magical mystery tour. lol A girl has to play sometimes...enjoying my WMM and all the effects and transitions available there...Thanks to Phyllis so much for this opportunity to finally be able to enjoy making videos again on my new laptop. In honour of Paul McCartney;s 69th birthday. I make videos to bring honour to the artiste and their life work...to keep them forever with us and for future generations. From Wikipedia: Sir James Paul McCartney, MBE (born 18 June 1942) is an English musician, singer-songwriter and composer. Formerly of The Beatles (1960--1970) and Wings (1971--1981), McCartney is the most commercially successful songwriter in the history of popular music, according to Guinness World Records. McCartney gained worldwide fame as a member of The Beatles, alongside John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. McCartney and Lennon formed one of the most influential and successful songwriting partnerships and wrote some of the most popular songs in the history of rock music. After leaving The Beatles, McCartney launched a successful solo career and formed the band Wings with his first wife, Linda Eastman, and singer-songwriter Denny Laine. McCartney is listed in Guinness World Records as the "most successful musician and composer in popular music history", with 60 gold discs and sales of 100 million singles in the UK. BBC News Online readers named McCartney the "greatest composer of the millennium", and BBC News cites his Beatles song "Yesterday" as the most covered song in the history of recorded music—by over 2,200 artists—and since its 1965 release, has been played more than 7,000,000 times on American television and radio according to the BBC. Wings' 1977 single "Mull of Kintyre" became the first single to sell more than two million copies in the UK, and remains the UK's top selling non-charity single. Based on the 93 weeks his compositions have spent at the top spot of the UK chart, and 24 number one singles to his credit, McCartney is the most successful songwriter in UK singles chart history. As a performer or songwriter, McCartney was responsible for 32 number one singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, and has sold 15.5 million RIAA certified albums in the US alone. McCartney has composed film scores, classical and electronic music, released a large catalogue of songs as a solo artist, and has taken part in projects to help international charities. He is an advocate for animal rights, for vegetarianism, and for music education; he is active in campaigns against landmines, seal hunting, and Third World debt. He is a keen football fan, supporting both Everton and Liverpool football clubs. His company MPL Communications owns the copyrights to more than 3,000 songs, including all of the songs written by Buddy Holly, along with the publishing rights to such musicals as Guys and Dolls, A Chorus Line, and Grease. McCartney is one of the UK's wealthiest people, with an estimated fortune of £475 million in 2010. Lyrics: Roll up, roll up for the magical mystery tour, step right this way. EMI Studios & Chappell Recording Studio, London, 25 June - 25 September 1967 The Beatles began recording All You Need Is Love on 14 June 1967, at Olympic Sound Studios in Barnes, London. On 23 and 24 June they made last minute rehearsals and additional recording, including an orchestral overdub. There was also a press call on the morning of 24 June, which saw more than 100 journalists and photographers enter Abbey Road. 25 June was the day of the Our World broadcast. Most of the day was spent rehearsing with the BBC camera crew. Your Mother Should Know was begun in Chappell Recording Studios in Maddox Street, London, as Abbey Road was booked for other artists. On the first day, 22 August 1967, they recorded eight takes of the rhythm track. The following day - their last session at Chappell - they recorded overdubs for the song. This was also Brian Epstein's last-ever visit to a Beatles recording session. The Beatles began recording I Am The Walrus on 5 September 1967, just nine days after the death of Brian Epstein. Sixteen takes were recorded on that first day, just five of them complete. John Lennon played a pianet electric piano, Paul McCartney played bass on the initial takes and later switched to tambourine, while George Harrison was on electric guitar and Ringo Starr played drums. On 6 September 1967 McCartney recorded a solo demo of The Fool On The Hill in a single take. He played the piano and sang, with no other Beatles appearing on the tape. On 16 September they began a remake of Your Mother Should Know, recording 11 more takes. The arrangement was harmonium, piano, vocals and drums, with a military-style snare rhythm. Recording of The Fool On The Hill with the full group began on 25 September. The Beatles recorded three takes of the rhythm track, with Lennon and Harrison playing harmonicas. Over the third take they overdubbed McCartney's recorder and lead vocals and Starr's drums. Track Listing: 01. All You Need Is Love (Warmup Take Excerpt) [0:00] 02. All You Need Is Love (Unknown Take) [1:29] 03. All You Need Is Love (Unknown Take) [1:55] 04. Your Mother Should Know (Take 8 Excerpt) [2:08] 05. I Am The Walrus (Unknown Take) [2:36] 06. Hi there all you Beatle people! A couple of years after The Beatles split up John Lennon was asked by an interviewer if the Beatles would ever get back together again and record a new album. By this time John had become a little tired of being asked the same question over and over again. He replied by saying that the splitting up of The Beatles was really no big thing and that it was just a rock group and nothing that important. However he suggested to the interviewer that if people really needed The Beatles that bad they had all the old records to play and reminisce with – if that didn’t suffice then John had a theory that all people had to do was listen to the music himself Paul George and Ringo were making separately and take tracks from his albums and from Pauls and from Georges and from Ringos, mix them altogether and it would be just like a new Beatle album! Well here is the result = MAGIC CIRCLE = This being the name The Beatles once considered as the title for their REVOLVER album. Was John Lennon’s theory right? Have a listen and see what you think. It’s just a bit of fun folks – but please comment with your reactions. ENJOY!

In the United States, the song was released on the Capitol album Beatles '65. The mono version — also released as a single on Capitol — features an exclusive mix with added reverb and a shorter fade as created by Beatles producer George Martin. The stereo version of the LP presented a duophonic mix featuring a layer of reverb added by executive Dave Dexter, Jr.. In the United Kingdom, the song was released on the LP format on A Collection of Beatles Oldies. A true stereo version can be found on the Past Masters Volume 1 and 1 CDs. There is also another stereo version (virtually identical to the standard stereo mix) wherein whispering can be heard at the beginning of the track. This "whispering version" appears on the non-US release of 1962–1966, as well as on occasional single re-releases. John Lennon – double tracked lead vocal, lead/rhythm guitar Paul McCartney – harmony vocal, bass George Harrison – harmony vocal, lead/rhythm guitar Ringo Starr – drums Personnel per Ian MacDonald In 1965, The Ventures included a cover of the song on their LP Knock Me Out. In 1966, Chet Atkins released an instrumental cover on his album Chet Atkins Picks on the Beatles. In 1967, Alma Cogan released a version on her album Alma. In 1970, Penny DeHaven released a Country version on a single only. In 1986, Queen would often play this song's signature riff during their Magic Tour. In 1988, country duo Sweethearts of the Rodeo released a cover of the song that reached the top-ten on the US country singles chart. In 1998, The Punkles did a Punk version on their first album, The Punkles. In 2002, Take That included "I Feel Fine" in their "Beatles Medley". In 2003, Curtis Stigers did a ballad version on his album You Inspire Me. In 2005, Westlife included the song in their The Number Ones Tour set list. In 2005, Les Fradkin released an instrumental version on his album While My Guitar Only Plays. In 1997 John Farnham on compilation album Anthology 3: Rarities. In 2012, Reynolds & Williams Band released a bluegrass inspired version on their debut EP Reynolds & William. In 2009, Peter Mayer (of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band) on his Beatles tribute album Goodbye Hello. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Feel_Fine
