How To Extend LVM Disk For Linux Virtual Machine On VMware
In this video I explain how to increase disk space in Linux with LVM by first expanding the hard disk, creating a new partition, expanding the volume group and logical volume and then resizing the file system. This video guide covers an existing (and more detailed) blog post I created which can be found here: http://www.rootusers.com/how-to-increase-the-size-of-a-linux-lvm-by-expanding-the-virtual-machine-disk/ Alternatively, you can also instead add a new disk rather than expand the existing disk as shown in this video by following these steps: http://www.rootusers.com/how-to-increase-the-size-of-a-linux-lvm-by-adding-a-new-disk/ --- Follow me here --- Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/JarrodsTech Google+ - https://plus.google.com/106278187407028513646/

File system
In computing, a file system (or filesystem) is used to control how data is stored and retrieved. Without a file system, information placed in a storage area would be one large body of data with no way to tell where one piece of information stops and the next begins. By separating the data into individual pieces, and giving each piece a name, the information is easily separated and identified. Taking its name from the way paper-based information systems are named, each piece of data is called a "file". The structure and logic rules used to manage the groups of information and their names is called a "file system". There are many different kinds of file systems. Each one has different structure and logic, properties of speed, flexibility, security, size and more. Some file systems have been designed to be used for specific applications. For example, the ISO 9660 file system is designed specifically for optical discs. This video is targeted to blind users. SOLVED - Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL
Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL Let me apologize in advance about the mic loudness. I made the video and noticed the mic was too high after and did not feel like redoing the video. You can adjust your speaker volume and it will not be too loud but still understandable.
