Edit: I found a job somewhere else, but this is still a cool quick demo. Cheap, powerful electronics are where it's at. Here's what I wrote earlier: "I'm applying for a job at TI as an applications engineer, so I'm uploading a short video of a breathalyzer I made using the TI Stellaris Launchpad. It took a few hours to figure out the documentation on the Launchpad and then another hour or two to figure out how to attach the alcohol gas sensor to the board correctly and program up a solution. It works pretty well! I'm a recent graduate of UC Davis with a degree in Electrical Engineering. I've got a good GPA and a really good theoretical grounding in stuff. I'd love to work for TI, they have great products and it'd be great to be part of their team!"

Sales engineers specialize in technologically and scientifically advanced products. They use their technical skills to explain the benefits of their products or services to potential customers and to show how their products or services are better than their competitors' products. Some sales engineers work for the companies that design and build technical products. Others work for independent sales firms. Some sales engineers, however, team with salespersons who concentrate on marketing and selling the product, which lets the sales engineer concentrate on the technical aspects of the job. In addition to giving technical presentations, sales engineers are increasingly doing other tasks related to sales, such as market research. They also may ask for technical requirements from customers and modify and adjust products to meet customers’ specific needs. Some sales engineers work with research and development (R&D) departments to help identify and develop new products. ✦🙋 Subscribe Here: http://bit.ly/SlyGittensYouTubeChannel ✦ Linkedin Profile ➜ https://www.linkedin.com/in/slygittens/ ✦ Instagram ➜ https://www.instagram.com/slygittens/ ✦ Twitter ➜ https://twitter.com/SlyGittens ✦ Facebook Networking Group ➜ https://www.facebook.com/groups/ConnectCyberProfessionalstoday/ ✦ Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/Slygittens/

Dan describes his position as an application development engineer as someone who works directly with customers to support the development of new applications for existing chemical products that serve to grow our business. His particular focus is on the automotive industry. Dan says there is no typical day for an application development engineer. He spends a lot of his time working directly with other engineers at LANXESS to support application development, but he also finds himself visiting customers to discuss the results of the work he’s doing. So what does an application development engineer do? His biggest piece of advice to students is to be open and not to feel pressure in selecting a specific major right away. Typically, these programs are open enough for everyone to find their own path in the field based on what interests them. If you have a strong interest or ability in math or science, Dan encourages you to explore these options and not to be discouraged by what others may say. At Lanxess there are application development engineers with a wide range of backgrounds, whether mechanical, chemical, industrial or plastics engineer, all can develop a career doing this line of work!

What Programming Language Should Programmers Learn In 2019? 💻 👉🏻https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwaSHqAWPUU Web Development Vs. Software Development: How To Choose? Some people have doubts about which path to follow: Web Development Or Software Development? There are basically two different paths you can go when it comes to programming: Web Development Web development is the coding or programming that enables website functionality, per the owner's requirements. It mainly deals with the non-design aspect of building websites, which includes coding and writing markup. Web development ranges from creating plain text pages to complex Web-based applications, social network applications and electronic business applications. (Source: https://www.techopedia.com/definition/23889/web-development) Software Development Software development is the process of computer programming, documenting, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks resulting in a software product. Software development is a process of writing and maintaining the source code, but in a broader sense, it includes all that is involved in the conception of the desired software through to the final manifestation of the software, sometimes in a planned and structured process. So, how do you choose between the two? What can you do in order to make the right choice? Watch this video and find out!
