Melt the chocolate in a bowl and allow to cool whilst making the meringue 2. Whip the egg whites until they reach a thick foam then add the sugar one spoon at a time whilst whipping slowly until all the sugar has gone 3. Whip for a few minutes until stiff peaks 4. In a large piping bag, stripe the sides in two or three lines with melted chocolate 5. Pipe similar sized swirls onto a lined baking tray 6. Bake at 80c / 170F (or the lowest your oven will go) for 2.5/3 hours and allow to cool in the oven ▼ GENERAL TIPS ▼ Tips: Store this covered (either in a tub or in cling film/plastic wrap) for up to 7 days. You can also just use coconut oil. 1 cup of icing sugar 3/4 cup of cocoa powder 1/3 cup of powdered milk 1 capful of vanilla extract Optional: 1 capful of coffee essence 1 tablespoon of coconut oil Using your favourite liqueur would also be great!! I used white chocolate, cashews and icing in a tube to decorate these. You can have them plain or decorate any way you like! ;) Tips: * If you find the chocolate a little "grainy" once it sets, melt it again and reset! * Don't worry if it appears to "runny" when you first make it it will set! The large tray I got from Spotlight and the smaller plastic sheets I got from Dollars and Sense! :)

How to Make Swiss Meringue Buttercream
How to Make Swiss Meringue Buttercream Full Recipe: https://preppykitchen.com/how-to-make-swiss-buttercream/ When you want a creamy smooth buttercream there are two choices, Swiss or Italian buttercream. I love both but have to admit there is less less chance of burning myself when making the swiss variety as you’re gently heating the meringue over a double boiler. The other benefit of these buttercreams is the color; you can get a very bright white with them and not have to resort to covering your cake in fondant. Lets talk about a couple potential problems. I think the most common issue is related to adding the butter when the meringue is still too warm. If you don’t wait long enough then the mixture will be soupy, which is a bummer. Luckily you can pop the bowl into the freezer for a few minutes, then give it a whip and it should be right as rain. If your start using the buttercream and it has lots of little bubbles and isn’t silky and pliable then it’s been sitting for a bit too long. All you need to do is give it a 5 second whisk and it will wake back up and regain it’s consistency. Some things to avoid: Don’t get fat in your bowl, make sure it’s clean (I actually give mine a quick rub with a lemon then wipe with a paper towel) Don’t let any yolks get into your whites when you separate the eggs. The easiest avoid yolks is to separate the eggs one at a time into separate bowls and then pour the white in as you go along. Don’t get scared when you add the butter in! if it’s a soup or if it’s looking wonky just chill is a few minutes then get back to mixing. If your idea of warm is tepid then go ahead and use a thermometer to see when your egg white mixture has reached 160F.

Stir until everything is cooked. Set aside to cool. For the frosting- in a chilled mixing bowl, add in the mascarpone cheese and icing sugar. Beat with a stand mixer until well combined. Pour in heavy whipping cream and beat until it forms stiff peaks. Add in orange extract and zest, lightly fold in. Fill a piping bag with frosting. For chocolate pudding – in a large bowl, stir together granulated sugar, cocoa powder, corn starch and salt. Pour in the milk and stir well. Place over the stove and stir continuously to mix break the lumps. Bring to a boil and turn off the stove. Add in the butter and vanilla extract; stir well until butter is melted. Set aside to cool. FINALIZING In a Swiss trifle bowl, place some Swiss roll on the bottom, spread frosting, followed by the berry sauce, vanilla pudding and chocolate pudding. Top with fresh berries if you desire and top with Swiss roll. Using piping bag decorate with frosting. SERVING Serve for dessert.

Here is what you'll need! 3-INGREDIENT CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM Servings: 6 INGREDIENTS 1 pint heavy whipping cream 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk, cold 10 ounces bittersweet chocolate, melted PREPARATION 1. Place a large glass or stainless steel mixing bowl in the freezer for at least 15 minutes. 2. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate and sweetened condensed milk. 3. Microwave 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each, until melted. 4. Set aside to cool slightly. 5. Remove the mixing bowl from the freezer and add the heavy whipping cream. 6. Beat with an electric mixer until the cream begins to form firm peaks. 7. Fold a large spoonful of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture to thin it out. 8. Fold the chocolate mixture back into the whipped cream mixture until just combined, being careful not to over-mix, which will deflate the whipped cream. 9. Pour into a loaf pan or 9x9-inch baking pan. Cover and freeze until firm, about 4 hours. 10. Enjoy! HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM Servings: 1.5 quarts INGREDIENTS 2 cups heavy whipping cream 1½ cups whole milk ¾ cup sugar, divided ¼ cup cocoa powder ¼ teaspoon salt 7 egg yolks 10 ounces bittersweet chocolate, melted and cooled slightly Equipment Ice cream maker PREPARATION 1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the heavy whipping cream, whole milk, ½ cup of sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Heat the mixture, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is hot and steaming (but not quite at a simmer). The temperature should read between 175-180˚F (80-82˚C). Remove from heat. 2. While the milk mixture is heating, whisk together the remaining ¼ cup of sugar with the egg yolks in a small mixing bowl. Whisk in the melted chocolate until smooth. 3. Add about 1 cup of the hot milk mixture to the eggs and chocolate, and whisk until smooth. 4. Pour the egg mixture back into the saucepan and return to heat. 5. Cook over low-medium heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture has thickened and begins to steam, or until the mixture reaches 175-180˚F (80-82˚C) on an instant-read thermometer. To prevent cooking the eggs, do not let the mixture boil. 6. Remove from heat and pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large mixing bowl. Stir in the vanilla. 7. Allow the custard to cool slightly before covering with plastic wrap and chilling in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. 8. Once the custard has cooled, transfer to an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's directions for use. 9. Serve immediately or transfer the finished custard to a loaf pan or a 9x9-inch baking pan. Cover and freeze until firm. 10. Enjoy! Easter is just a few weeks away... these Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Bunnies are so easy to make and so adorable. They would be such a cute addition to an easter basket... Or, a sweet treat at your Easter gathering! MARSHMALLOW INGREDIENTS (full batch): -2 envelopes unflavored gelatin (14 g total) -1 Cup Water (236ml) Dividend in half -1 1/2 Cups (288g) Granulated Sugar -2/3 Cup (158ml) Light Corn Syrup (you can sub golden syrup) -1 tsp (5ml) Vanilla Bean Paste (or sub vanilla extract or scrape 1 vanilla bean pod!) FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR A SHEET OF MARSHMALLOWS: *If making these as a sheet of marshmallows instead of the molded bunnies you will also need a 50/50 mix of cornstarch and powdered sugar for dusting. After the marshmallow is mixed, grease a sheet pan or 8x8 square pan with vegetable shortening, spread the marshmallow batter in and heavily dust with the 50/50 mix. Let sit 4 hours to over night. Turn out and cut into bite size pieces. I am making a four layer chocolate cake here frosting each layer with buttercream frosting & topping up with dark chocolate ganache...My layers aren't even as I expected it to be but the taste & the texture came out to be perfect ;) I hope you will try this recipe out & share you're thoughts with me :) These are the ingredients I used.. Cake: 1 3/4 Cups all purpose flour 3/4 Cocoa Powder (Regular) 2 Cups of white sugar 1 1/2 tsps of Baking powder 1 1/2 tsps of Baking soda 1 tsp of salt 1 Cup pf Whole Milk 1/2 Cup of Vegetable oil 2 tsps of Vanilla essense 1 Cup of regular coffee 2 Large Eggs Buttercream Frosting: 1 Cup of room temperature soften butter 1 1/2 Cups of Cocoa Powder (Regular) -I am using Nestle Cocoa Powder in this video,if you are using a different brand, use 1 cups of cocoa powder and increase according to your taste..(Check ** below for reasoning) 2 Cups of powdered sugar (Confectioners sugar) 5-6 tsps of Milk (as needed to get the right texture) 1 tsp of Vanilla essense Chocolate Ganache: 1 Cup of Dark Chocolate Chips 1 Cup of heavy milk (whipped milk) 1 tsp of Light corn syrup (Optional) 1 tsp of Vanilla essence Pans: Two 9 inch pans Bake: 350 degree for 30-35 minute **I used a different brand(Hershey Cocoa) other than Nestle to make this cake and realized Hershey is way too dark compared to Nestle Cocoa, so the frosting can be bitter. Since I used the above mentioned recipe with adding 1 1/2 cup cocoa, I had to add more confectioners sugar to bring the bitterness down, So thought of mentioning that here.
