OUTFIT DOCUMENTARY Official Full Movie 2015 (New Movie about Vintage Fashion)

01:00:01
Why do many of us wear pajamas to do errands or to school? Why do many young men sag their pants, and young women flash too much skin? This is the official full movie of Outfit Documentary that explores the answer to these questions. Outfit is a new homemade documentary that explores why many Americans tend to dress less conservatively, and lazily, and how vintage-style clothing shows more class and character. Image-driven, the film explores the classic trendy fashion elements from the 1920's until the 1990's. Topics explored include feminism and taking fashion for granted. Featuring: Music artist, IceDude (Ivan Arrington) and model, Angelique Noire. FREE Vintage Movie Filters & Video Effects -- MAKE SILENT FILMS in just ONE CLiCK!

06:26
Want to make silent films? Filmora has tons of FREE vintage movie filters & video effects you can apply to any clip. Give your movies that vintage film look in JUST ONE CLICK! This video will also teach you how to add black and white color, tv and paper textures, and vintage titles to your movies To apply some of filmora effects you have to add the effect to each one of your clips individually. As a short cut, after you finish your edit and applying the overlays and color, you can export your video and reimport it to filmora then apply anything you want to the whole clip. Take in consideration that when you export a video multiple times it looses some quality. But as we are doing an old film look, it should be ok. Tip 1) Change the aspect ratio Tip 2) Change the speed If you haven’t noticed movements in old films look accelerate. This is because people used to shoot their movies in 18 frames per second, now days the standard is 24fps or 30fps, closer to what the human can recognize as a normal movement. So we just need to speed up our clip a little bit. Ok thats good. Tip 3) Change Aspect Ratio If you want to know more about aspect ratio and frame rate check more of our videos in the description or in our channel. Tip 4) Add Music We are just missing to add some music! I am going to use this one. You can find some music in filmora or go online for other free options. The songs that we are using we got them from incompetech.com. Now we just export it! And there you have it, how to make silent films instantly! Classic Movie Bloopers and Mistakes: Film Stars Uncensored - 1930s and 1940s Outtakes

01:29:43
Classical Hollywood cinema or the classical Hollywood narrative, are terms used in film history which designate both a visual and sound style for making motion pictures and a mode of production used in the American film industry between 1917 and 1960. More bloopers: https://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&tag=tra0c7-20&linkCode=ur2&linkId=2e2330f57788ff94fc8dbab62c46051c&camp=1789&creative=9325&index=dvd&keywords=classic%20movie%20bloopers This period is often referred to as the "Golden Age of Hollywood." An identifiable cinematic form emerged during this period called classical Hollywood style. Classical style is fundamentally built on the principle of continuity editing or "invisible" style. That is, the camera and the sound recording should never call attention to themselves (as they might in films from earlier periods, other countries or in a modernist or postmodernist work). Throughout the early 1930s, risque films and salacious advertising, became widespread in the short period known as Pre-Code Hollywood. MGM dominated the industry and had the top stars in Hollywood, and was also credited for creating the Hollywood star system altogether. MGM stars included at various times "King of Hollywood" Clark Gable, Norma Shearer, Greta Garbo, Joan Crawford, Jean Harlow, Gary Cooper, Mary Pickford, Henry Fonda, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Judy Garland, Ava Gardner, James Stewart, Katharine Hepburn, Vivien Leigh, Grace Kelly, Gene Kelly, Gloria Stuart, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, John Wayne, Barbara Stanwyck, John Barrymore, Audrey Hepburn and Buster Keaton. Another great achievement of American cinema during this era came through Walt Disney's animation. In 1937, Disney created the most successful film of its time, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Many film historians have remarked upon the many great works of cinema that emerged from this period of highly regimented film-making. One reason this was possible is that, with so many movies being made, not every one had to be a big hit. A studio could gamble on a medium-budget feature with a good script and relatively unknown actors: Citizen Kane, directed by Orson Welles and often regarded as the greatest film of all time, fits that description. In other cases, strong-willed directors like Howard Hawks, Alfred Hitchcock and Frank Capra battled the studios in order to achieve their artistic visions. The apogee of the studio system may have been the year 1939, which saw the release of such classics as The Wizard of Oz, Gone with the Wind, Stagecoach, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Destry Rides Again,Young Mr. Lincoln, Wuthering Heights, Only Angels Have Wings, Ninotchka, Babes in Arms, Gunga Din, and The Roaring Twenties. Among the other films from the Golden Age period that are now considered to be classics: Casablanca, The Adventures of Robin Hood, It's a Wonderful Life, It Happened One Night, King Kong, Citizen Kane, Swing Time, Some Like It Hot, A Night at the Opera, All About Eve, The Searchers, Breakfast At Tiffany's, North by Northwest, Dinner at Eight, Rebel Without a Cause, Rear Window, Double Indemnity, Mutiny on the Bounty, City Lights, Red River, The Manchurian Candidate, Bringing Up Baby, Singin' in the Rain, To Have and Have Not, Goodbye, Mr. Chips, Roman Holiday, Giant and Jezebel. The style of Classical Hollywood cinema, as elaborated by David Bordwell, has been heavily influenced by the ideas of the Renaissance and its resurgence of mankind as the focal point. Thus, classical narration progresses always through psychological motivation, i.e. by the will of a human character and its struggle with obstacles towards a defined goal. The aspects of space and time are subordinated to the narrative element which is usually composed of two lines of action: A romance intertwined with a more generic one such as business or, in the case of Alfred Hitchcock films, solving a crime. Time in classical Hollywood is continuous, since non-linearity calls attention to the illusory workings of the medium. The only permissible manipulation of time in this format is the flashback. It is mostly used to introduce a memory sequence of a character, e.g. Casablanca. Likewise, the treatment of space in classic Hollywood strives to overcome or conceal the two-dimensionality of film ("invisible style") and is strongly centered upon the human body. The majority of shots in a classical film focus on gestures or facial expressions (medium-long and medium shots). André Bazin once compared classical film to a photographed play in that the events seem to exist objectively and that cameras only give us the best view of the whole play. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_Hollywood_cinema

(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmnSm_d2ll4) but I didn't manage 100! The idea was to do the same for movies from the Golden Age – meaning no title later than 1953 (although there is one at the end.) Oh, and none of these clips was sped up or slowed down. If you like the clips, go buy the movies on DVD! And the song on Google Play or iTunes! And thanks also to IMDB, clipconverter.cc and Nero Video. Turn on subtitles to find out the film names. PS. Old movie effect Super 8 style footage in after effects)

00:06
I actually didn't follow a turoial for once! I did however, download the 'Old film effect' form video co pilliot. So credits for that. But yeah, although i don't want to 'fake' the old fim footage look, i thought i'd see how it looks when you do. (Especially after discovering it'll cost like £30 for 3 1/2 minutes footage on an actual super 8 camera once it's developed and digitized etc.) Obvoiusly the content doesnt fit with the era this effect would go with. but i did also get to try out my 'bulb lighting up' effect. It's not very well seen in this - which probably good, cos it wasn't the most convincing thing. But there are lights cast on to the girls jumper and face etc - but once in this style you can only really see the light bulb light up. Ahwell. Anyway I had fun making this so enjoy.

VINTAGE PHOTOS OF CLASSIC MOVIE STARS (PART 1)

08:30
MOVIE STARS, PART 1 (43 PHOTOS) In the early days of silent movies, the names of the actors and actresses appearing in them were not publicized or credited because producers feared this would result in demands for higher salaries. However, audience curiosity soon undermined this policy. By 1909, actresses such as Florence Lawrence and Mary Pickford were already widely recognized, although the public remained unaware of their names. Lawrence was referred to as the “Biograph Girl” because she worked for D. W. Griffith's Biograph Studios, while Pickford was "Little Mary." In 1910, Lawrence switched to the Independent Moving Pictures Company, began appearing under her own name, and was hailed as "America's foremost moving picture star" in IMP literature. Pickford began appearing under her own name in 1911. The Independent Moving Pictures Company promoted their "picture personalities", including Florence Lawrence and King Baggot, by giving them billing, credits and a marquee. Promotion in advertising led to the release of stories about these personalities to newspapers and fan magazines as part of a strategy to build brand loyalty for their company's actors and films. By the 1920s, Hollywood film company promoters had developed a "massive industrial enterprise" that "...peddled a new intangible—fame." Early Hollywood studios tightly controlled who was a movie star, as only they had the ability to place stars' names above the title; according to film historian Jeanine Basinger, this was done "only for economic reasons". 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, celebrity & famous people, life & culture, people, portraits

[4K] - OLD 35mm MOVIE/Comics style FILM -YI M1 GRADED-MAGIX PRO X/DAVINCI RESOLVE / PD 17 - 86 Mb/s

08:09
Hi everyone! :-) Fancy one of those old 35mm movies from early ‘20s or ‘30s? Or, perhaps, a more traditional family-like movie shot with a classic 35mm film camera now over 50 years old? There it is: this is my second video made and re-edited to look like one of those “classic”, B&W, movies from the traditional “film“ era. Enjoy! This video is a remastered and revisited edition of my other video, shot in “Porto Ceresio” ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vcf00FsiIE4 ) about 2 weeks ago. It’s a shorter and redesigned version, and this time in an old 35mm film movie fashion/style, as you can see. For this, I reduced the overall video sharpness to better simulate the typical old 35mm film “look”, and also applied a specific NewBlue FX’s Illford B&W color filter, which I modified in tint and other parameters towards a more “brownish” color. To better simulate this “old 35mm film” look I also added sort of “film grain” and “dirt” FX to the clips (both can be modified to a great extent in their internal parameters and overall FX on the movie), plus a gentle “vignette” to resemble the natural projector vignetting and also a light but rather noticeable “camera shaking” to account for simulation of 35mm film “vibration” from the projector. I also added, for more realism, the typical projector sound. I really like what has come out of this revisited edition of the video and this just shows what can be achieved with such a wonderful and now rather inexpensive little camera like the YI M1. Video re-edited first in DaVinci Resolve 16 (Beta, trial version) and partly re-arranged in clips positions, and entirely re-synced for the different BG musics used. The produced/rendered video was then imported and further edited in MAGIX Pro X and then, again, in CyberLink’s PowerDirector 17. Final video rendered and exported in 4K UHD 3840x2160 @30fps. Video file-size: 4,31 GB, average bit rate: 76Mb/s. Description of the original video (linked above) A new, not too short this time (the video is rather long, nearly 10 minutes), second, mid-day, visit to “Porto Ceresio”, on Lake Lugano (CH), AKA "Lake Ceresio", on April 27th, 2019. Clips shot with the YI M1 mirror-less, micro four-thirds, camera, entirely hand-held (no tripod used), with the Vivitar wide angle 24mm f2.8, the 28mm and the vintage Nikon E-series 50mm f1.8 (in manual mode, manual focus) therefore, whenever possible, I leaned myself against a wall or a pylon or something for more stable shots. Both lenses are, obviously, not stabilized and because the shots were taken in 4K I also could not take advantage of any in-camera stabilization, which in the M1 is only available from 2K resolution (4:3 format) downwards. For those shaky shots I used the really outstanding Mercalli v4 stabilization (which is impressive as far as results go) which is provided as an add-on to MAGIX Movie Edit Premium and/or Pro X: virtually no wobbling effects on the clips. Video first edited in MAGIX Movie Edit Premium Ed. for preliminary cuts, color correction/enhancement as for exposure, brightness, shadows, mid-tones, highlights/gamma/HDR and sharpness (including curves). All clips have been stabilized when required via Mercalli v4 in MAGIX Movie Edit Premium Ed.. The video was then exported in 4K UHD 3840x2160 @30fps. Further editing carried out in DaVinci Resolve for aspect ratio correction for cinematic black bars at the top and bottom of the frame, further scenes cuts and clips re-arrangement plus BG music sync. No LUTS and/or color grading was applied to the clips, which were shot in YI M1 “vivid” mode. The final video was then rendered in DaVinci Resolve 16 (Beta, trial version) in 4K UHD 3840x2160 @30fps. Video file-size: 11.0GB, average bit rate: 149Mb/s. This video took 2 entire days of processing and post-production work, not including the time spent on location for taking the shots. Thank you very much to everyone for watching and comment! I hope you enjoy this video, as much as I enjoyed making it.
